TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WWFSASSI BIENNIAL SURVEY COMPETITION

WWF-SASSI (with WWF-SA) SURVEY COMPETITION (23 MAY – 5 JUNE 2017)
1.
Entrants
1.1
All permanent residents of South Africa that undertake the survey are elligible to enter
the competition (25 May – 15 June 2017).
1.2
Directors, members, partners, agents, consultants, tenants or employees of WWF-SA
and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter this competition.
1.3
Entrants under the age of 18 will require the consent of their parent or guardian to
enter this competition.
2.
Term
2.1
The competition shall be run on various digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter & WWFth
SASSI website) starting on the morning of the 25 May 2017 until the end of the day
on the 15 June 2017, with winners to be announced on the 22

June 2017.
Entries
3.1
Entrants are entered into the competition by undertaking the WWF-SASSI survey
which will be run online through various social media platforms and emails.
3.2
The winners shall be selected by an independent consultancy firm “Change Agent
Collective” by a random draw. The decision of the Change Change Collective team
members shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into about the
decision.
3.3
WWF-SASSI & WWF-SA takes no responsibility for any inability of an entrant to
enter, complete, continue or conclude the competition due to equipment or technical
malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection or otherwise.
3.4
By entering this competition the entrant accepts the full terms, conditions and rules of
this competition and agrees to abide by these rules and any requirements and/or
proceedings issued by WWF-SASSI & WWF-SA in regard to the competition.
4.
The Prize
4.1
The winner of the draw will be eligible to win a WWF-SASSI and WWFSA goodies
consisting of the Starfish Recipe Book, WWF-SA stuffed animals, various
WWFSASSI and WWF-SA clothing items and food gift vouchers (Valued at R30 000).
4.2
In relation to the Prize, postage to the entrant’s given address is included, provided
such address is in South Africa.

4.3
In the event that any of the Prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable
for any reason, WWF-SASSI may substitute a Prize of like or equal value.
5.
The Winner
5.1
The Prize will be awarded as set out in paragraph 3.2 above. The Winner will be
notified by WWF-SASSI via social media, email or phone call (depending on which
contact details the entrant has made available) within one month of the Prize draw.
The results of the competition will be verified by an independent competition auditor.
5.2
The Winner accepts the Prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies WWFSASSI
& WWF-SA in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, or property
damage that may occur in connection with the Prize to the fullest extent allowed by
law.
5.3
The Prize is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash or another Prize, and
must be accepted by the Winner within one month of winning the Prize or he/she will
forfeit the Prize.
5.4
The Winner will be announced via social media and may be requested to be
photographed and interviewed by the promoters and have his/her name published in
promoter correspondence. WWF-SASSI & WWF-SA may request a higher resolution
version of the image.
5.5
Where a diligent attempt to contact the Winner fails or the winner elects not to take
the Prize or is unable to take the Prize for whatever reason WWF-SA & WWF-SASSI
reserves the right to either select another Winner or not award a Prize at all, in its sole
discretion.
5.6
If, after successful notification, the Prize is not collected within one month of being
announced it will be regarded as forfeit.
6.
The Promoter
6.1
WWF-SA & WWF-SASSI reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of an
entry and to refuse the entry of any person who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with any process in
redeeming the Prize.
6.2
WWF-SA & WWF-SASSI may refuse the redemption of any Prize in the event of any
irregularities or fraudulent activities.
