Facility:
Six (6) lane, 25 yard pool. Pool depth is 7 feet at the start end and 3.5’ feet at the bulkhead (turn end).
Blocks are 17” high. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with USA Swimming’s
Rule 104.2.2(c)(4). No touch pads at shallow end of pool.
Timing:
Daktronics timing system and touch pads will be utilized, along with 2 manual timers per lane.
Rules:
Official 2015 Short Course USA Swimming Rules and Wisconsin Swimming Rules shall govern the
conduct of this meet. Swimmers do not need to be registered as USA swimmers. Age is as of the day of
the meet. Coaches must display their Coaches Card while on deck.
In granting this approval it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free and held harmless
from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the
event.

Swimmers are allowed to enter a maximum of five (5) events – four (4) of which may be individual events.
Deck registrations will be accepted up to 20 minutes prior to the meet so long as additional heats
are not added.
Swimmers with special needs should be noted on your entry form. Your coach is responsible for notifying
the head official during warm-ups of any special needs of your swimmers.
Feet first three-point entries from the starting end of the pool during general warm-ups
will be enforced for all sanctioned/approved competition in accordance with recent change
to Policy 4.5.2(a).
Any swimmer entered in the Meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being
proficient in performing a racing start or the swimmer must start each race from within the water. When
unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal
guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
The attached Waiver must be received by the host team no later than the 10:00 a.m. the day of the meet.
All entries shall be emailed to the Meet Entry Director no later than 5:00 p.m. the Tuesday prior to said
meet.

There will be no admission charge. However, heat sheets will be available for purchase.

Scoring:
No team or individual points or scores will be kept for Conference regular season meets.
Awards:
First through sixth place ribbons are awarded for relays and individual events at regular season
meets. Additional place ribbons may be awarded at the host team’s expense. Ribbons are to be
standard 1 5/8 inches by 6 inches ribbons.
A participation award may be given to swimmers designated by the swimmers’ coach at regular
season meets (team choice and expense). Host teams that choose to give heat winner ribbons
must give them to the first place swimmer in every heat regardless of age group or heat number.
Final
Results:
Final results will be posted at www.wisconsinswimming.org. Results will be posted at various locations
during the course of the meet. Please note that results posted during the meet are NOT official. The
official results will be distributed at the end of the day.
Seeding:
All events will be pre-seeded.
Conduct:
Each team is responsible for the behavior of their swimmers. The Meet Director or Administrative
Official may remove any swimmer from competition for disruptive or disorderly behavior. In
accordance with the Federal Voyeurism Prevention Act of 2004 – the use of audio or visual
recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, or
locker rooms. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other
than in locker rooms or other designed areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
Concessions: A wide selection of items will be available for purchase.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I/we hereby, for myself/ourselves, my/our heirs, administrators,
and assigns, waive and release any and all claims against the Medford Aqua Fins Swim Club, the city of
Medford, WI, the Central Wisconsin Swim Conference (“CWSC”) and the Northern Lakes Aquatic Club
(“NLAC”), and their officers, coaches and staffs for injuries and for expenses incurred by me/us at the meet, or
while on the road to and from the meet. I/we are bonafide amateur athletes and eligible to compete in all events
I/we have entered.
