Scoring notes:

1 point per hole
Cooper (10 handicap) vs Bower (8 handicap) means Cooper gets 2 strokes. These are alloted to him beginning with the hardest
handicap rated holes (see men’s handicap rating in blue) until all 2 strokes are used. Notice the “+” sign on holes 1 and 5.
On hole #1 Cooper’s bogey ties Bower’s par because he has a stroke on that hole. They each win a half point.
On hole #4 Bower’s 4 beats Cooper’s 5 and he wins the point.
On hole #5 they both par, but Cooper is getting a stroke so he wins the point.
In the end Cooper earns 5 hole pts and Bower earns 4 hole pts.

2 points per individual match
At end of match Cooper nets a 33 (score 43 less hcp 10)
At end of match Bower nets a 36 (score 44 less hcp 8)
Cooper wins the match and gets 2 additional points

Ghost Sub
Notice Cooper’s partner was a no show and his score is entered as “3 over his handicap”
His normal hadicap is 11, so for the round a ghost score of 50 is entered (par 36 + handicap 11 + no show penalty of 3 strokes)
The scoring from there against opponent Gootee is handled as described above in the first match.
