Oxfordshire County Council, as the Local Authority, has developed a website setting
out its current SEND ‘Local Offer’. This is a page outlining what is available locally
for all young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The

In addition, Oxfordshire has been providing information to help families to
understand the culture change created by a new system which puts children, young
people and families at the centre of planning and the development of new plans. For
example, an animation has been produced to explain what happens at an Education,
Health and Care Plan meeting (EHCP meeting.)
