bills contained within. BALANCE ON HAND AS OF AUGUST 1, 2016 $55,064.68 – TOTAL
RECEIPTS $109,583.63 – TOTAL EXPENSES $109,021.22 – BALANCE ON HAND AS OF 8-312016 $55,627.09. ONE ITEM OF NOTE WAS THE RECEIPTS AND EXPESES WERE HIGHER
THIS MONTH FOR A $76,352.97 TRANSFER FROM THE LINE OF CREDIT TO THE COUNTY
OF NORTHUMBERLAND FOR THE AOAA SHARE OF THE CONSTRUCTION GRANTS.

Directors Report / Public Announcements:
 Members of the AOAA Authority met with the County Commissioners on August 30, 2016
for a project update and to discuss property management
 Members of the AOAA Authority along with the Director of Operations attended a Coal
Township Zoning Board hearing on 9-14-2016 regarding the SKS Campground proposal.
 We would like to thank Bob Troutman and Shikellamey Track & Field for participating in
the Northumberland County promotional video and for maintaining a section of trail outside
of Sunbury for this promotional video.
Director of Operations
 Thank you to AOAA Staff along with staff and volunteers from CMN, Reading Anthracite,
Anthracite Trailriders, KORVA, EVOR, and PA Jeeps for the successful completion of the
Children’s Miracle Network Benefit Ride held on 9-10-2016. Thank you to the Zerbe Rod
and Gun for holding the chicken BBQ, and to the County Commissioner for participating in
the event. THIS WAS A WELL PLANNED AND RUN EVENT. LIKELY THE
BIGGEST EVENT HELD TO DATE AT THE AOAA. WAS A HUGE SUCCESS.
CHAIRMAN BACKES THANKED THE DIRECTOR AND ALL SUPPORT STAFF AND
VOLUNTEERS FOR TAKING AN IDEA JUST A FEW SHORT MONTHS AGO AND
FULLY EXECUTING IT. THANKS TO ALL THOSE IN ZERBE TOWNSHIP WHO
SUPPORTED THE IDEA AND HELPED MAKE IT HAPPEN.
