Y5 Kwik Cricket Tournament
This Tournament takes place on Wednesday 12th July.
Children must wear full PE uniform and bring a Packed
Lunch, including bottle of water. Please return Consent
slips before Wednesday.
School Clubs
This will be the final week for all clubs. Can we remind
parents that payments for Cookery, Gardening and
Netball Clubs should be paid every Monday. Costs are
£2 per club.
Y6 & KS2 Choir Present ‘The Workhouse Boy’
This will take place on Wednesday 19th July at 6.00pm.
Tickets are now available from the school office on a first
come first served basis at a cost of £2.00 per person.
Tickets are limited to 2 per family.
Y6 Edinburgh Trip
The children thoroughly enjoyed their weekend in
Edinburgh. Comments were made about how well
behaved the children were, they were an absolute credit
to the school.
Children Arriving in School
On a morning, all children must line up on the school yard
ready for their teacher to greet them and escort them into
class. Children should only enter via the school office on
a morning if they are late or if they have agreed this with
the Headteacher.
Summer Fair
Our summer fair will take place on Sunday 9 th July 2017.
50p entry for adults and free entry for children under 12.
We have some exciting activities and stalls. Please come
along and support our school. The event takes place from
1:00pm to 4:00pm. All welcome!
Notice
Can we kindly ask parents not to pass items to their
children through the school fence during break times and
lunchtimes. Items you would like to pass onto your child
should be handed in to the school office.
Sponsored Walk
The sponsored walk to Saltwell Park will take place on
Monday 10th July. We hope you are well on your way to
receiving lots of sponsorships. Parents/Guardians are
welcome to come along and support the children, if you
can take part please inform the school. Sponsorship
money should be brought into school next week.
School Meals
Can we remind parents that school meals must be paid
on a Monday morning. There are a greater number of
parents not paying on a regular basis, which needs
addressed, therefore we will not be able to provide a
meal until this debt is cleared. If you have any
problems with this, please see Mrs Fraser.
Reception Graduation
Reception will have their Graduation Ceremony on
Wednesday 12th July at 2.15pm.
New School Uniform
The website to order new uniform is now live! The
information on how to order can be found on our website
under the parents’ tab. Orders can be placed via:

Y4 Swimming
Reminder that Y4 swimming has been cancelled on
Wednesday 12th July so Y6 can complete their swimming
assessment.
Y6 Swimming Assessment
This will take place on Wednesday 12th July. Please
remember to provide all children with their swimming kit.
Y5 Discovery Museum
This visit will take place on Wednesday 12th July.
Children must wear full school uniform and bring a
Packed Lunch, including bottle of water. Please return
consent slips and payment by Wednesday.
Year 2/3 Charity Collection
As part of their efforts for their charity, ‘Tiny Lives’. You
can purchase merchandise, guess the name of the
teddy. Items can be purchased from the Y2/3 classroom
at anytime before the end of term.
School Uniform
Can we remind parents that children must wear black
shoes as part of their uniform. Trainers may only be
worn for PE lessons.

We encourage those children that have any out of school
