Changes to Epraise. We want to make epraise as fair as possible. As of January 2013 staff will award points as follows How you can get points Every Day ACADEMIC 1 Point. You must have completed a piece of Classwork OR Homework to a high standard relative to your set. The piece of work has to be marked by the teacher with "1 Point" or an Epraise stamp. Before Every Half Term Teachers will award points before each half term based on your classwork (effort), homework and behaviour over the half term. So for example, you could get up to three points every half term from all your teachers if you meet the criteria below PLUS from 2‐4 points for attendance 95% or over ACADEMIC: sustained effort (Half Termly ONLY) Completed by all teachers in all subjects 1 Point Awarded to all students who have worked hard in class for the full half term. HOMEWORK: sustained (Half Termly ONLY) Completed by all teachers in all subjects 1 Point. Awarded to all students who have a COMPLETE homework record for the term (taking account of absence) BEHAVIOUR: sustained good behaviour (Half Termly ONLY) Completed by all teachers in all subjects 1 Point Awarded to all students who have exhibited good behaviour for the whole half term. ANY STUDENT WHO HAS BEEN SENT TO TIME OUT IN THAT HALF TERM WILL RECEIVE NO POINTS FOR BEHAVIOUR ATTENDANCE Points awarded automatically for 95‐99% (2) 100% (4) every half term Attendance Improved Points awarded for improved attendance as appropriate by Year Head at any time Anytime appropriate SERVICE Service Event up to 5 points awarded for support at a College event Service Arts up to 3 points for art work displayed in exhibition or in College up to 5 points for being in production or supporting as crew in production Service/Team 1 point awarded for support of teacher in some way up to 5 points for being in College Team/ Representing the College
