PROLOGUE Ambassador Role
We are looking for volunteer Ambassadors aged 16 – 25 to help us promote the
PROLOGUE scheme and spread the word about Chichester Festival Theatre. If you’re
passionate about theatre and want to add experience of volunteer work in a theatre to your
CV, then this role could be for you.
The main aim of our PROLOGUE Ambassadors is to help promote the scheme to 16 – 25
year olds:

Increase awareness of the PROLOGUE scheme, which offers £8.50 tickets and
access to exclusive events and other discounts to 16 - 25 year olds
Come up with new ways of publicising the scheme
Encourage new 16 - 25 year olds to sign up PROLOGUE
Act as an enthusiastic advocate for the theatre
Applicants can apply for one of four roles, each with the following key duties and
responsibilities:

SOCIAL MEDIA
o Use social media to post news, images, information, video and other content
related to productions and events
o Increase the number of followers and their engagement
o Develop new social media platforms
BLOGGING
o Write production reviews
o Connect with other bloggers and assist with the organisation of bloggers
events
o Generate other content related to productions, e.g. cast Q&As
VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY
o Photography at events
o Filming at events
o Produce video content to promote the scheme
DISTRIBUTION & PARTNERSHIPS
o Develop appropriate contacts, e.g. with student societies and local
workplaces
o Find new outlets to distribute PROLOGUE print
o Build partnerships with local businesses and negotiate offers for PROLOGUE
members
