How to Play




9 participants are requested to say numbers from 1 to 100.
These numbers are put up on the board.
Then, three other participants say a number from 0 to 9 and a 3- digit target is displayed
on the board too.
Now participants have to get as near to the target as possible using each of the 9
numbers only once and using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Not all
numbers need to be used.
How long does it take to play?


30 minutes for the whole activity.
The time-limit for each round may be adapted to the participants' characteristics.
How many people is it for?
About 25 participants.
What do I need to play?
Paper, pencils, a board with markers or chalk.
