On-line Registration and Payment of Fees Frequently Asked Questions Q1: Where do I find information relating to on-line registration and payment of fees? A1: Log onto IT Tralee website: www.ittralee.ie/registration Use the User ID and PIN supplied in your on-line registration letter Q2: How do I make a full payment of fees? A2: Once you have completed on-line registration, if you wish to pay the full amount, you can proceed to the payment section, entering your credit/debit card details and the amount in full. Q3: I am unable to pay the full amount in one instalment. What do I do? A3: You may not be aware but most debit cards have a daily limit (this could be approx. €1,000.00, but please check with your bank if you are unsure of the amount). If you are unable to pay the full amount it could mean that you have exceeded the daily limit of your card and if this happens, you have the option of logging in on a few consecutive days and paying amounts under the daily limit e.g. if your daily limit is €1,000.00 and if the total amount you owe is €2750.00, log in on day one and pay €999.00, log in on day two and pay €999.00 and log in on day three and pay the balance of €752.00. Choose the ‘Pay Later’ option, which will allow you to pay in instalments and then select ‘Make a Credit/Debit Card Payment’. Enter your card details and the amount of payment. Q4: How do I avail of staged payment of fees option? A4: If you wish to avail of the staged payment of fees option, you can download the Staged Payment of Fees form on-line (available from late August onwards). Complete the form and submit to Admissions Office if you are located in North Campus or to the Finance Office if you are in South Campus. This will give you the option to pay in four equal instalments throughout the academic year (September, November, January and with the final payment due in early March). If availing of staged payment of fees, click on the ‘Pay Later’ option, which will allow you to pay in instalments and then select ‘Make a Credit/Debit Card Payment’. Enter your card details and the amount you are obliged to pay. Q5: What do I do if my payment is not accepted? A4: You must contact your bank in the first instance to ensure you have sufficient funds in your bank account. You should also check the daily/card limit with your bank, as you may have exceeded this (see A3. above for further details on how to complete a payment if the daily limit has been exceeded).
