Responsibilities of Faculty Research Committees
o Collecting Extended Abstracts from authors and forwarding them to the editorial board
o Making recommendations, if requested by the Editorial Board, in selecting reviewers and
accepting/rejecting Extended Abstracts
o Preparing a list of Special Invitees in consultation with the Dean of the Faculty and
submitting it to the Food & Refreshment committee and Programme and Registration
Committee
o Identifying Chairpersons for Technical Sessions
o Supervising the general functions at the venue and preparation of lecture theatres for
technical sessions by coordinating with the sub-committees
o Helping the registration desk at the venue
o Arranging the table clothes and name boards for the head-table at Technical Sessions
