Eligibility: 1. Being hired by IDIBAPS or any of its consortium members (FCRB, Hospital Clínic, UB, IIBCSIC) at the moment of the registration and during the development of the course. 2. Being a pre-doctoral researcher (R1) enrolled in a Doctoral programme or a post-doctoral researcher (R2) in the first 7 years after the PhD defense. Registration: 1. The training sessions will be announced on the IDIBAPS webpage and will be disseminated to the R1 and R2 IDIBAPS researchers. The communication will include details on the schedule of the sessions and the number of spots available. 2. Candidates will have to fill in an on-line registration form for every session once the registration period is launched. A registration number will be assigned to the candidate in order of arrival. Criteria for the allocation of seats: 1. In case the number of candidates does not exceed the number of spots available, the list of participants to the session will be directly published. 2. In case the number of candidates exceeds the number of spots available, a random draw will be celebrated in the following way: the applications will be ranged by order of registration and one number will be picked randomly and starting from that point, the seats will be assigned following the ascending order of the list and until there is no room left. 3. The random draw will be done by the Programme Coordinator and the Programme Manager. Formalization of the registration and candidates’ commitment: 1. The list of participants to each session will be published at the IDIBAPS webpage and sent by mail to the concerned persons at the announced date. Those who have not been selected will remain on a waiting list following the order established with the random draw. 2. The attendance to the sessions is voluntary. 3. In case the registered candidate is not able to attend a session, he/she will be required to report it to the Programme Manager a few days in advance so that those on the waiting list might still have a chance to attend. Those who don’t attend two sessions without previous notice will be excluded of the next coming random draws to be celebrated during the rest of the biannual cycle. Certificate of participation and feedback of the candidates: 1. The researchers could request a certificate of participation after each attended session in case they need it. 2. A feedback form will be handed out to the participants after each session in order to get their opinions on the contents, speakers and format of the sessions and with the aim to further improve the quality of the training programme.
