The Adventure Quest Membership
Ignition- Many people, who have been associated with the organization directly or indirectly for the purpose
of Adventure Sports, wanted to join them with TAQ to get more involved with the activities and encourage
the organization as well.
Adventure / extreme sport
Adventure sports can best be defined as an outdoor activity which involves lot of known or unknown challenge. It generally
happens at uncommon destination in an unfavorable terrain, in uncommon climatic condition for some uncommon goals.
Adventure sport can also be called as extreme sport, is very much popular internationally. Extremity is the inherent character here.
This sport demands high level of technical knowledge, accuracy, fitness and specialized equipment and gears.
Type of Adventure Sports - Land, Air and Water
Land - Hiking, Bush craft, Rock Climbing, Trekking, Mountaineering, Biking
Air – Gliding, Skydiving , Bungee Jumping, Para sailing etc
Water – Under water – Scuba Diving, Free diving
On water –Surfing, Rafting, Sailing, Rowing, Kayaking, Wind surfing etc.
The Adventure Quest is a sports and games institution, do organizing outdoor adventure programs for all,
including under-privileged class of the society. Which include Adventure Camp, Rock Climbing, Trekking,
Mountain Orientation Program, slide shows etc.
Plans: Beside our regular activities, we are also planning to organize workshops on the subjects related to
Adventure Sports on regular basis.
Members get the priority to attend any of the programs organized by TAQ.
We do also have a plan to keep the members covered under group insurance.
Membership Fee:
---------------------1. Employed – Admission Fee Rs.700. Rs.100 Per month
2. Students – Admission Fee Rs.500. Rs.50 Per month
3. Under-privileged people will considered on case to case basis
Life membership not yet decided.
Some programs will be exclusively for members, otherwise there is no restriction in joining regular outdoor
programs organised by TAQ.
