The modern market of software offers to a user the wide spectrum of facilities (application packages) for the decision of problems of planning and calculation of power constructions of engineering, mining and metallurgical industries, and also wide circle of problems of deformable solid mechanics, gas dynamics, hydromechanics, geomechanics, biomechanics and others. Science capacious programmatic systems are rich enough, having regard to insufficient knowledge of computer technologies by mechanics, and of fundamental bases of mechanical processes - by computer specialists, often are difficult incarnated in practice of calculations. But without such facilities of research the achievement of high results in this direction is problematic, and that is why providing of high competitive products on world markets is impossible without rapid embodiment of computer technologies in practice of planning and engineering analysis of the behavior of difficult mechanical systems. For effective application of existent models, methods, algorithms and specialized packages, and also creation of new competitive developments in decision of actual problems of mechanics (and, in particular, dynamics and durability) graduating student in speciality "Computer mechanics", must not only deeply own a modern mathematical vehicle and fundamental knowledge in mechanics, but also professionally to know a computer technique, modern software, models, methods, algorithms and technologies of computer mechanics, able to program on high-level languages, have skills of work with programmatic facilities, that are used in industry and envisage computer prognostication of bearing strength and diagnosticating of the state and accompaniment of a good during its complete life cycle from planning, calculation, making, exploitation and to utilization. Thus, centre of gravity in preparation of master's degrees - mechanics moves to more intensive capture the modern information technologies with the aim of decision of the applied problems of calculation and planning of constructions of modern engineering in the earliest possible dates and with minimum charges. Nomination of master's degrees of computer mechanics The speciality is intended for preparation of specialists for work in science capacious industries of national economy that need creative approach to research of mechanical processes with the use of computer technologies. A need in such specialists is confirmed by today's problems that arise up in industry at planning, calculation and creation of standards of new engineering. 2 The master's degrees of computer mechanics successfully work in leading designer bureaus, IT- companies, on the enterprises of machine-building, metallurgical and extractive industry and building, in research institutes and public and private commercial institutions, conduct pedagogical activity in higher educational establishments. Their high mechanical, mathematical and computer qualification is highly valued by employers. Basic disciplines of master's degree preparation Offered list of disciplines in computer mechanics is oriented to wide range of fundamental and special divisions from the mathematical and computer design of problems of mechanics, modern numerical methods and technologies of modern calculation mechanics. 1 year studies (60 credits) allow getting theoretical and practical master's degree preparation in fundamental and special courses of computer mechanics on the basis of knowledge of basic disciplines of preparation of students-mechanics (bachelors) and elements of computer preparation.
