Debate















One team per college
Each team should have 2 member-one speak in favour and other in against.
Time duration 3 min(1.5 min for each member).
Then there will be argument round for 1 min.
The following criteria will be followed for marking1- Content (relavent to the topic)
2- Team coordination
3- Communication skills
4- Debating skills
5- Time management
The topic for debate competition to be held on 2nd april will be announced 3 days prior to
the event at www.ndimdelhi.org
Treasure Hunt
Any no of teams (4 members in each team) on enrollment basis.Registration Fee Rs 50/per team Registration starts at 10.30am.
Time limit for each team is 2 hours. Start time will be same for all teams.
Teams have to travel on foot.
Teams cannot be split , at any point during the hunt, otherwise,it will lead to
disqualification.
Any team that tries to physically obstruct the hunt for other team will be disqualified.
There will be penalty of 2 points per min. for any team returning late after stipulated
time.
Entire team must be present when you turn in your score sheet.
Teams cannot move, destroy or interfere with the clues otherwise team will be
disqualified.
Teams will be permitted to carry a bag.

Ad Mad Competition






Two team from each Institute comprising of 4 participants.
An individual cannot participate in more than one team.
Product will be given on the spot.
Participants to carry necessary material/props.
Use of obscene language or actions will lead to disqualification.
Time limit : 3 minutes for preparation, 2 minutes for presentation

1. Registration fee Rs. 50 per participant
2. This tournament will have knocked out format.
3. In 1st round sprint & circuit races will be played.
4. At the end of one race the participant standing last 2 position will be knocked out and
remaining 2 will play for next round.

5. Number of rounds may differ for various preliminary rounds and final round.
6. Participants are supposed to maintain the discipline during the event otherwise action
may be taken against them by the teacher co-ordinator.
7. The judges’ decision will be final.
Case Challenge













Case Challenge is a team based competition
Each of the participating colleges will be represented by a single team of 2students to make
a case presentation in front of jury members
Each participating team should carry 1 laptop with them for case presentation, No other
material is allowed in the competition theatre
Presentations must be made in English using Microsoft Power Point
Access to the internet through any mode of communication, discussion among teams
regarding the case solution, using phones during the competition is not allowed and any
team found doing so, will be disqualified
Teams will be given a specific time period to solve the case and make the presentation
Time allotted to each team for presentation is 10-15 minutes, you may use cue cards during
your presentation
Teams exceeding the allotted time limit for presentations will be negatively marked
Presentation by each team will be followed by question answer round by the jury
The presentations will be judged on quality of the analysis, presentation, question and
answer, overall performance
Teams coming late for participation in the competition will not be entertained
Teams must report to the venue one hour before the commencement of the competition
Business attire for all the team members is compulsory
Collage Making







2-3 members in the group.
Total time to prepare collage: 30 minutes.
Participants should bring their own piece of poster board.
Participants are allowed to proceed through using magazines, photos, newspapers or
another type of material to produce this content for the collage.
Here’s what you need to carry the following things:
o Old magazines or catalogs
o Old greeting cards
o Square of heavy paper or cardboard for the background surface
o White glue
o Yarn for trim and hanger
Selection on first come first serve basis.

Round 1




The number of team members must not exceed 2.
A college/institute can send maximum of 2 teams to participate in the competition
The competition is open only to post graduate management students.
An executive summary should be prepared by the team to give a brief idea of the plan
and how you plan to go about it.
 The summary must not exceed 1500 words.
 The summary should be mailed to [email protected] with the subject as Business
plan – Topic of the B-Plan, should be mentioned in the subject.
 The idea should be original and the data, if used from other sources must be referenced.
 Last date of submission – 23rd March 2012
 Declaration of results of first round-26th March 2012
 10 teams would be selected for final round which will be held at NDIM Campus.

The Teams selected for the final round should prepare a power-point presentation containing the
topics mentioned below:

Marketing Guru- A business plan for best marketing strategy.
Innovation- Out of the box thinking combined with practical concerns.
Environmental Issues- A business plan to tackle several eco problems.
Management- A business plan to effectively manage a company .
10 minutes will be provided to the team to explain their ideas to the judges and opponents. Marks
will be deducted for exceeding the time limit. An interjection round of 2 minutes will follow. No
cross-questioning would be allowed. The teams would be judged on the basis of originality,
feasibility, presentation, applicability and financial gains.
Note- on the spot registration will not be permitted under any circumstances.




Street Play
One team with maximum of 10 members
Time limit: 15 minutes
Theme : Evils of Society
Costume, props and make- up will not be provided
Poster making






Two persons per team
They will be provided with the poster (Chart paper size).
Other stationery is to be carried with the student.
Topic will be given on the spot
45 minutes will be provided for making the poster.
The candidate will be asked to explain the poster after the competition.
Bulls & Bears





Each team shall consist of maximum 2 members.

Round 2
Every team shall be given Rs. 10 lakh in fictitious money, which they will be allowed to
invest in a number of different scripts. Teams will be permitted to trade in these scrip’s
only during the trading window, which shall be open for a duration of 15 minutes.
A set of news flashes will be aired prior to each trading round for the participants to base
their trading decisions on.
There will be 4 rounds of trading in all, and the team with the highest net portfolio shall
be declared the winner

Two participants from each college.
Props n costumes will not be provided by us.
Participants should have their own copy of music cd for the performance.
Time limit for a performance will be 4 min.





One team from each college.
Max 10 members in a team are allowed.
Props and costumes will not be provided by us.
Participants should have their own copy of music cd for the performance.

The team should comprise of maximum two participants.
The theme for rangoli will be given on the spot
The colors of rangoli, as well as other materials, if required, must be brought by the
participants.
Rangoli must be handmade and any kind of tools will not be allowed.
The maximum time duration will be 45 minutes and the Rangoli area per team will be
2.0× 2.0 ft.
Entries will be accepted on first come first serve basis.
All participants must report at the venue at least one hour prior to the commencement of
the event.
The decision of judges will be final and binding to all contestants.

Qualifying/Prelim round: (10.30-12.30)
All teams (3 members) to prepare and present a case study on the topic “Diversification
Strategy by different MNC’s” (which will be sent beforehand) and face bullets of
questions.
Time limit for each team: 10-12 mins
Final Round: 12.30 – 2.30
10 finalists to be shortlisted and given new case to be solved and presented

Anybody having innovative ideas can participate

The team will show its feasible innovative ideas in front of the audience and will have to
satisfy them.
The idea should be chosen amongst the current trends and innovations in IT areas or your
own feasible idea which currently does not exist but can be implemented in near future.

This event has a preliminary round consisting of a set of IT-related MCQs and/or True False
and/or fill in the blanks.
1. The teams qualifying for the Final would face a number of challenging stages and finally,
one team would emerge as the winner.

Eligibility:
The contest is open to all general domain students working in teams of two.
Rules:




Time limit for web designing will be 1 hour.
Time limit for presentation will be 10 min per team.
Topics and theme will be provided on the spot.
Images and text will be provided to the teams according to their topics and theme and can
also search on internet for 10 min in the starting.

A team must give a Band name while registering
1 team from a particular college
Name of all the members should be given and no changes shall be done at the last moment
Number of members in each team should be 3-7
You must bring your own instruments to participate in the competition
A band must register the name of the artists along with the instruments while registration
Make sure all your band mates arrive on time and stay there with you
Maximum time for performance 15 minutes
Song selection should be revealed after the registration
1 member can participate in 1 team only
No restarts allowed in case you have a bad start








One team from each institute consisting of maximum 19 members
Time limit of 20 minutes (non competitive) and 15 minutes (competitive)
No props or costume will be provided
THEME will be decided by the team and should be disclosed prior to registration
Team will be judged on the basis of clothing and theme chosen
Negative marking if time limit is exceeded
No audio will be provided, team will have to bring their own CDs etc.
