Spandan 2012 Rules and Regulations Debate One team per college Each team should have 2 member-one speak in favour and other in against. Time duration 3 min(1.5 min for each member). Then there will be argument round for 1 min. The following criteria will be followed for marking1- Content (relavent to the topic) 2- Team coordination 3- Communication skills 4- Debating skills 5- Time management The topic for debate competition to be held on 2nd april will be announced 3 days prior to the event at www.ndimdelhi.org Treasure Hunt Any no of teams (4 members in each team) on enrollment basis.Registration Fee Rs 50/per team Registration starts at 10.30am. Time limit for each team is 2 hours. Start time will be same for all teams. Teams have to travel on foot. Teams cannot be split , at any point during the hunt, otherwise,it will lead to disqualification. Any team that tries to physically obstruct the hunt for other team will be disqualified. There will be penalty of 2 points per min. for any team returning late after stipulated time. Entire team must be present when you turn in your score sheet. Teams cannot move, destroy or interfere with the clues otherwise team will be disqualified. Teams will be permitted to carry a bag. Case Challenge Case Challenge is a team based competition Each of the participating colleges will be represented by a single team of 2students to make a case presentation in front of jury members Each participating team should carry 1 laptop with them for case presentation, No other material is allowed in the competition theatre Presentations must be made in English using Microsoft Power Point Access to the internet through any mode of communication, discussion among teams regarding the case solution, using phones during the competition is not allowed and any team found doing so, will be disqualified Teams will be given a specific time period to solve the case and make the presentation Time allotted to each team for presentation is 10-15 minutes, you may use cue cards during your presentation Teams exceeding the allotted time limit for presentations will be negatively marked Presentation by each team will be followed by question answer round by the jury The presentations will be judged on quality of the analysis, presentation, question and answer, overall performance Teams coming late for participation in the competition will not be entertained Teams must report to the venue one hour before the commencement of the competition Business attire for all the team members is compulsory Collage Making 2-3 members in the group. Total time to prepare collage: 30 minutes. Participants should bring their own piece of poster board. Participants are allowed to proceed through using magazines, photos, newspapers or another type of material to produce this content for the collage. Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit. An interjection round of 2 minutes will follow. No cross-questioning would be allowed. The teams would be judged on the basis of originality, feasibility, presentation, applicability and financial gains. Note- on the spot registration will not be permitted under any circumstances. Street Play One team with maximum of 10 members Time limit: 15 minutes Theme : Evils of Society Costume, props and make- up will not be provided Poster making Two persons per team They will be provided with the poster (Chart paper size). Other stationery is to be carried with the student. Topic will be given on the spot 45 minutes will be provided for making the poster.
