DOGS IN THE SCHOOL
Please be aware that dogs (or other animals) should not be brought to
the school. This is for health and safety reasons and is our District's
policy. Dogs can be brought into specific classrooms if there is a
specific educational reason and there has been prior approval given
by the teacher. If a dog is brought in to any classroom it must only be
taken to and from the classroom directly and can only remain for the
duration of the educational event. If you have any questions about
this policy please do not hesitate to contact the office for more
information.
STUDENTS COMING EARLY/STAYING LATE AT SCHOOL
We have a number of students that are being dropped off early or
being picked up late. Please be aware that supervision of students is
only provided from 8:25 to 8:37 in the morning and from 2:49 to 3:04
in the afternoon. For safety reasons it is important not to have
students at school during unsupervised times. Please ensure no
student is dropped off earlier than 8:25 or picked up any later than
3:04.
PARKING LOT CHANGES
The bus stop sign in front of our building has now been taken down
and replaced with a Drop-Off Zone sign. Feel free to use this area for
short durations to drop students off and escort them to the building.
No parents should ever leave an unattended vehicle in areas that
block the regular flow of traffic.
SOCTOBER
Thank you to everyone who donated socks for our first ever
Socktober!! It was a huge success! A small gesture of a pair of socks
can make a big difference for a person who doesn't have a warm
home or warm clothing this time of year.

shapes, sizes and athletic ability. During our practices we will
introduce athletes to proper techniques in a safe manner. Wrestlers
will play several warm-up and combative games that mimic different
wrestling situations. A parent or an adult must be present for the hour
long practice due to the nature of the sport. Competitions will not be
mandatory however there will be opportunities to compete during a
home tournament, November 25th and an away tournament in
Vanderhoof in December. The cost of the competitions will be an
extra charge
