Tournament format Qualification 6 games (entries and re-entries) Desperado squad 1 game 64 players will qualify for the final steps 12 players will qualify directly for the final step 2, which is players positioned 1-12 in the qualification standing 52 players will qualify for the final step 1, which is: Players positioned 13-52 in the qualification standing Players positioned 1-8 in a separate standing for the squads conducted on 4-8 March Players positioned 1-4 in the desperado standing In cases of players from the separate 4-8 March standing is positioned in the interval 1- 52 in the qualification standing, the next positioned player in the 4-8 March standing will qualify Final step 1 52 players will play 6 games starting from scratch. Top 16 will qualify for the final step 2 The players not continuing to the final step 2 will be ranked 29-64 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 1 Final step 2 28 players will play 6 games starting from scratch. Top 8 will qualify for the final step 3 The players not continuing to the final step 3 will be ranked 9-28 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 2 Final step 3 8 players will play a Round Robin with the pin fall from the step 2 carried forward There will be 7 rounds in the Round Robin, each consisting of one game matches, where the 8 players will be matched against all other 7 players. After the conclusion of each match, bonus points will be added to the score total as follows: 30 points for a won match and 15 points for a tied match. The standing after the final step 3 is an accumulated total of the score of the 6 games in step 2, the score of the 7 games in step 3 and all won bonus points in the Round Robin matches. Top 3 of this standing will qualify for the final step 4. Players not continuing will be ranked 4-8 according to their positions in the final step 3. Final step 4 There will be 2 stepladder matches, all starting from scratch References to positions is to positions after the final step 3 Stepladder match 1 The player positioned 3 and the player positioned 2 will play a one game match The looser of the match will be ranked 3 in the final tournament standing Stepladder match 2 The winner of the previous step and the player positioned 1 will play a one game match The looser of the match will be ranked 2 in the final tournament standing The winner of the match will be ranked 1 in the final tournament standing Tournament tie rules Qualification and the final step 1-3 In case of a tie the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc. When games are compared in the final step 3, bonus points won in the matches are not taken into consideration. The final step 4 In case of a tie in a match in the final step 4, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken Desperado squad In case of tie in the desperado squad, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification.
