Description
Provide consultancy services to different organisations, public and private, in the
area of microfinance, organisational development, project management, and
training
Fund management for Agriprofocus, ICCO and the Netherlands Embassy in Kigali,
under the Agri-Sector Development Facility (ASDF), Country Representative in
Rwanda for ICCO Cooperation. The position involves the development of the
strategy for ASDF, putting in place systems and procedures for the facility, staff
recruitment and supervision, budget oversight, and coordination of ICCO
programmes in Rwanda

Managed a portfolio of 16 partners in WASH, including planning, funding
proposals, monitoring activities, and capacity building for partners (training,
coaching, advisory services, projects monitoring, networking, and
(knowledge) brokering).

Microsoft Dynamics , payments for project implementation, narrative and
financial reports, feedback letters, etc)

Training and Business planning for microfinance institutions located in Karongi,
Rwamagana, and Nyabihu districts: Trained 121 managers in different themes
(risk management, business planning, and human resources management, and
delinquency management, market research and product development). Coached
trainees and facilitated business planning and management procedures
development for 16 microfinance institutions, as a requirement to be licensed.
They all have fully licenced by the central bank of Rwanda, which is the
supervisory body.

Capacity building (coaching, training, networking, business development
services) to partners in selected value chains (coffee, honey, tourism) in the
whole country. Provided advisory services to more than 60 SMEs, resulting in
increased productivity, access to inputs (including financial services), improved
governance and management, as well as access to markets.
Capacity building (coaching, training, networking, business development
services) to microfinance institutions in Rwanda. Supported 18 microfinance in
the process of putting in place systems (management procedures, governance
structures, internal controls, management information systems) and business
plans required to be licensed by the supervisory body. All the 18 were licensed.
Provided advisory services to the umbrella organisation of microfinance
institutions in Rwanda on various issues including the development of
microfinance policy, and the regulatory framework. They have both been
approved by the Rwandan Government.

Set up a pilot project for post conflict microfinance, to test tools for market
research, product development, systems, and the provision of microfinance in a
post conflict setting. Contributed to the development of research briefs, the
establishment of a pilot institution and the provision of loans and saving products
to more than 5000 individuals in Mugina area. I was responsible to oversee
operations, staff and finance for the project. The project was characterised as very
successful by a team of external evaluators.

Support Youth recently reintegrated in the community with identification, set up
and running of income generating activities to smooth community reintegration
after a long period in refugee camps or orphanage institutions. Supported 36
Youth with reintegration in rural Kigali and Kigali City.

I was responsible for various tax collection points (Kigali International Airport,

tax laws and prevent smuggling.
I was delivering different subjects to a Primary 8 class pupils in Nshili Primary
School, Sake, Kibungo. The performance of the school in primary leaving exams
improved by 400% during my tenure, making the school the best performer in
Kibungo Arrondissement in 1989.
