The Program Quality and accountability Coordinator leads the development of a sound monitoring, evaluation, learning and
accountability processes across all programs and operations in mission through establishment of a clear benchmark of risks
management, accountability and quality. Reporting directly to the Country Director, he is responsible for detection of unsound
practices and proposal of corrective measures while ensuring enforcement of total quality management.
 Provide clear strategy and National direction for design and implementation of a sound Monitoring, evaluation and
learning systems.
 Ensure ACF designs appropriate systems and processes to mitigate effects of controllable risks.
 Undertake independent verification of stakeholders satisfaction while managing an independent feedback of the program

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor: UKAID- Education Sector Support Program in Nigeria
(October 2010– December, 2015)
Responsible for thematic area of strengthening education management information system, Integrated school
development model and conditional cash transfers; the task involves leadership, strategic planning, program quality
assurance, program technical support, program development, financial management, political engagement, advocacy and
partnership networks to support safe spaces in Schools. Other detailed responsibilities are:
 Oversee design of organizational M&E systems in ESSPIN projects’ monitoring and reporting systems & tools in line
with internal and external grant management requirements for Donors including good governance/ civic participation and
Gender Based Violence, voice and accountability in 6 pilot states of Kano, Enugu, Kwara, Lagos, Kaduna and Jigawa.
 Undertake Organizational capacity assessment for the Civil Society organizations using Voice and accountability tools,
Capacity, accountability and Responsiveness framework, Making market work for the poor methodology.
 Provide quality assurance and grants management of selected 42 Civil Society organizations, State Partners and local
government authorities within the pilot states.
 Oversee development, support and maintenance of relevant programme databases both web based and computer based in
line with the appropriate information needs of the donors and the organization in Excel and Access, ODK/ Survey ToGo,
Okvo flow among others on Tablets and mobile phones and trained staff as well as partners on the use of google drive to
enhance backup and storage of data and information.
 Compile and present monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual progress reports to the Donors, Senior Management Team.
 Lead the bi-annual and annual performance reviews for ESSPIN programs at state level as well as review of performance
against the National Strategy which learning generated informed the annual planning process, re-design and budgeting
across all programs.
 Design and lead regular capacity-building initiatives for partner International organizations in Nigeria as well as Civil
