Edina Football Players and Parents:
Hello, my name is Derrin Lamker and I am the new head football coach at Edina High School. I am
honored and extremely excited to be your son’s football coach for the upcoming season. I know it seems
early, but football is right around the corner. We will have a kick-off meeting on Monday, May 1st at
Edina High School in the auditorium (Fick) at 7 pm. All coaches from every level will be in attendance.
Please try and attend, if time permits.
Below is a list of some important dates for EHS football between May 1st and September 1st for your

Monday, May 1st at 7 pm - Our Edina football kickoff night at Edina High School in the
auditorium (Fick). I would like it if all parents, coaches and players could try to attend. This
meeting will give you all the information that you will need for upcoming camps, clinics, and
speed & strength for the entire season. You can sign up and pay for all camps, clinics, and speed
& strength. There also will be representatives from our Captain’s Parent Group to take all orders
on apparel.
Equipment handout at ECC – May 30th- Thursday, June 1st - from 6-8 pm.
Edina Football Mini Camp and practice grades 9-12 – June 5th-Wed June 7th- At ECC from 7-9 pm.
Practice grades 9-12 Mondays - June 12th, 19th, 26th, July 17th, July 24th - from 9 am-11 am.
Speed & strength will be every Monday and Wednesday June 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th and
July 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th from 11 am-12:30 pm at the ECC weight room for all football
players grades 7-12.
Passing Leagues for grades 10-12 - June 14th, 21st, 28th, July 12th, 19th from 6-8 pm. Then June
29th and July 13th from 9 am-12 pm.
Skills camps and 7 on 7 touch football for grades 3-8 at ECC - July 24th-26th - from 6:30 pm - 8 pm.
9th grade orientation - meet coaches and check out equipment - August 10th at ECC from 6-7 pm.
Equipment and jersey checkout - August 10th from 7-9 pm for grades 9-12.
Practice begins - August 14th- 8 am to 1 pm at ECC grades 9-12.
Picture Day - August 15th 12 pm-2 pm.
Silent Auction at Interlachen CC - August 18th at 7 pm.
EDINA FOOTBALL PROGRAM night, grades 3-12, all at KULHMAN field - August 23rd from 5-9 pm.
Grades 9-12 all level scrimmage at ECC - August 26th from 9 am-12 pm with Andover, Holy
Angels, and Becker.
Mothers Clinic - August 26th 6 pm – Jay & Kari Carroll’s home (invites will be sent).
First Varsity Game Home versus Lakeville South - August 31st 7 pm.
