Workday is Signet’s single-source for managing your talent. For the first time, all Signet Team Member data and actions will be managed from the same system. Workday will replace Lawson, ZVision, and Manager Direct Access. This means you will have visibility to company-wide organization charts, performance and compensation info, payroll and benefits, recruiting, and features to view/manage time off. With Workday, you will have self-service capabilities for all your peoplerelated processes. Business processes managed by you are streamlined and efficient, and give you the ability to monitor progress at each step along the way. Workday is a single place to manage your team. Managers will now be responsible for initiating and managing many of the people-related actions that were once processed exclusively by HR. With the self-service tool, People Managers will have greater visibility to their direct reports, initiate Team Member transfers or job changes, set performance goals, complete Performance Appraisals, and manage their team’s time off. You can get ready for the launch by reviewing the job aids and videos located in the Signet Learning Portal and reviewing upcoming communications with your teams. Achieving Results in a Different Way Preparing for Workday Launch Tools and Support for People Managers Most processes in Workday are easy and intuitive. Training materials have been created for every process to provide in-the-moment support to guide Managers through processes they may need additional help completing. All Team Members can access training materials through the Signet Learning Portal. Training materials include: • Job Aids with step-by-step instructions on completing Workday tasks • Videos containing more in-depth demonstrations of key processes • E-learning modules to provide detailed content and demonstration of more complex processes. Additional training topics available for People Managers will support a variety of actions and processes needed to manage their team’s HR and Payroll functions. Support is available by e-mailing: [email protected] Team Member data will be extracted from Lawson and ZVision and imported into Workday. Not all history will be loaded into Workday. However, HR and Payroll will still have access to all Team Member history so they can continue to support the business needs. Leading up to the launch, People Managers can continue to use their current tools to manage their team’s people needs. Once Workday goes live, People Managers will access Workday to complete business processes for their teams. It’s really that simple! Manage your team through the Inbox Your Inbox alerts you to actions needing your attention. You can check the status of a business process that you have taken action on or review business processes that you have completed in the archive folder. In Workday, People Managers will have responsibility to drive a variety of peoplerelated actions such as: Workforce: Team Member Changes (Job Changes) Change Manager/Supervisor Performance Management Talent Review Termination Team Time Off: View Team’s Time Off Team Visibility View My Team Data Org.
