As part of the growth of our company, we are looking for a bright, fun and motivated individual to take on project leading for our New Games Team on a fixed term contract basis. The New Games Team is responsible for the creation of our line of boxed games (including but not limited to Love Letter, Smash Up, Thunderstone and Doomtown). Your responsibilities will be diverse, with impact on the entire breadth of the project you are entrusted: Create and manage the plan and assets associated with the project. This includes coordinating with volunteers and/or freelancers including artists, graphic designers, writers, and editors. Be the link between Development, Production and Sales on the project. Help deliver marketing strategies that cater to the target audience of the project. Actively participate in the playtest of the project. Manage the toolbox necessary to your job responsibilities. Experience in at least one of Graphic Design, Creative Direction or Game Development (see specification document for more information) is mandatory for the position. The ability to focus on both the wider scope and the details of a project is equally as important. We want all our games to be fun, and an appreciation of the pleasure that games can bring to people and the capacity to enjoy doing that are absolutely key – you are going to be both a team player and need to be able to work efficiently as an individual. The post-holder can be based anywhere in the world and will work from home as the NGT is a virtual team (however, please note that most of the team is based on the Northern American continent).
