If you had your picture taken (or submitted a picture), you can find your directory
with your name on it on the lobby table. If you didn't have your picture taken, ask in
the office (there are a few extras).
Faith Family Hospitality Guests Return the Week of March 23
You all are great!! You've created a safe and comfortable home for four families
every time we've been called upon to serve. Learn about and sign up for setup,
evening host, overnight host, dinner prep and teardown duties here.
Facebook for Lent
This year, we're using social media as an opportunity to reflect throughout this 40day season. Each day in Lent, we'll feature a "mini-reflection" created by you on our
Facebook page! Here's how to participate: Send a one sentence reflection to
[email protected]. The challenge: your "mini-reflection" should include
the following.


One of the words from our Lenten theme of Plant.Nurture.Grow.
One of our areas of ministry as captured by our HeartMinistry teams
(Outreach, Children, Youth, Welcoming Hearts, Communications, Kids at
Heart, Caring Hearts, Fellowship, Property, Adult Education, Worship, Finance;
Elders, Board, and Cabinet are fair game too!).
Tennyson Center Dinner
Once a year, we gather for a fundraising
dinner to support the healing work of the
Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado
Christian Home. Join us on Friday evening,
April 11, for a great dinner and powerful
program. Learn more and register here.
To learn about one of our church's effective and significant ministries...
...check out the Kids at Heart website, where you'll learn about the program, the
state's renewal of the Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, and much more.
Summer Camp for our Church's Children and Youth
Summer camp may be the most formative faith experience
in a young person's life. Camp packets are now available at
children & youth events or you can pick one up in the
lobby. To check out the schedule and costs for summer
camps and download a copy of the forms, click here.

Serve



If we could add 2 or 3 persons to the "kitchen keepers" team, each would only
have to serve one time a month. To learn more and possibly volunteer, call
Kay Hartley (667-4655).
Over the years, hundreds of meals have been delivered to members and
friends by our Caring Hearts who prepare meals for persons who are in grief,
have returned home from the hospital, or are experiencing other difficult
circumstances. To help, call Sharon Peters, leader of the Caring Hearts Team
(206-0166).
March's list of items we're collecting in the church lobby for the Tennyson
Center includes: liquid hand soap, hair gel, slim fit tampons, thin and ultrathin maxi pads, Ziploc bags (snack size), Band-Aids (regular and latex-free),
sunscreen, Clorox wipes and first aid cream.
FYI

The smaller Lenten banners in the sanctuary are designed and handmade by
Christians from the Tujia minority people group who live in a mountainous
region of Southern China. Their artwork utilizes the Guizhou traditional batik
craft to portray Biblical scenes featuring local minority dress. Depicted are
Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the washing of his
disciples' feet on Holy Thursday, his prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane that
night, and his crucifixion on Good Friday.
Snail Mail
To my friends who have called, visited, brought food and sent cards, thanks for your
thoughts and prayers during my illness. I love you all.
Jane Shouse
Hello Stacy, Richard, Sue and everyone at Heart of the Rockies,
Thank you so much for inviting us to come speak to your Sunday School group. It
was so wonderful to share our organization's mission with all of you and we are so
appreciative that you took the time to listen. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our
neighbors and look forward to hopefully finding a time to see you all again.
You're a blessing to us!
Thank you,
Maegan Duggar (and all your friends at Respite Care)
