Held under USA Cycling event permit
Track bikes only. USA Cycling rules apply. Rainouts will not be made up. Open to all riders with USA Cycling
road/track/cyclo-cross license; one-day licenses can be purchased online ONLY for $10 for each night. Annual licenses
are also available online ONLY for $70. Riders without licenses are encouraged to purchase annual licenses ahead of
time at http://www.usacycling.org and bring Authorization to Ride to the track until you get your license in the mail.
PLEASE NOTE!! – Due to New York City Department of Parks &
Recreation regulations, we cannot accept any race day fees. This
event is PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!!! Please register at
http://www.bikereg.com.
Fields will be Open Men and Open Women. All riders will do a Flying 200m Time Trial for seeding. Based on those
times, the initial round of races will consist of multiple groups of up to 6 each. Rounds 2 and beyond will have the last
placed rider from the previous round relegated to the next group below (i.e. group B to group C) and the first place rider
from the previous round promoted to the next group above (i.e. group B to group A).
$20 entry fee. Sign-in opens at 9:00am and closes at 9:50am sharp. Pre-registration is REQUIRED and can be done
on http://www.bikereg.com. Pre-registrations by mail are accepted. Please include USAC Standard Entry Form and
check payable to Atwood Racing Services and send to Alan Atwood, 62 Timber Ridge Dr, Holbrook, NY 11741. Riders
under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian present to sign race waiver. It is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that
junior riders fill out a waiver form and have the parent/guardian sign it before you come to the velodrome.
