Releasing a Player
For releases from an affiliate, so that a player may move to a new club.
If the player has not been rostered:
the player’s competition level should be set as inactive
set the team as none
The player may now be imported to any other club.
If the player has been placed on an Official State Roster :
Got Soccer has recently activated a new release feature making it much easier to release a player from a
club. When releasing a rostered player log into the registrar tab, the FYSA registration event, and select
the appropriate team. Find the player and hit the release button.
You will be prompted to confirm the action.
If the player is being released from the club so that he/she may be picked up by another club this is the
only step that will be required.
If a player is released in error simply look up the player and change their competition level to the
appropriate level. From there you can assign the player back to the original team if desired.
Do Not use the “ delete” or “Remove” Button
