Özak Textile was founded by Akbalık Family in 1985. Thanks to the innovative, sustainable
policies intended to produce better all the time, which has been followed since its
foundation, Özak has grown to be one of the biggest ready-made garment production
companies in Turkey. Displaying in its sector an upward trend in performance raising
continually since 1985, Özak Textile owes this determination to its excitement felt all the
time, team work and professionalism reflecting on each phase of production. Thanks to the
products and services at consistent quality offered to the customers, Özak Textile attained to
such a position as to produce premium denim and non-denim products to the leading denim
brands of the world.
Özak textile makes production in its 4 factories throughout Turkey. In the factories lying over
an indoor area of 57,000 m2 in total, it is made production using state-of-art systems.
Totally 2000 employees work in Özak Textile and 250 of them are included in the
management staff.
Özak Textile prioritizes its sensitivity against natural and societal environment, while it makes
production in accordance with national laws and rules as well as ethical rules.
Özak Textile gives particular importance to the training of human resource with its ever
growing and improving organization. Therefore all employees are provided with both
personal development and consciousness-raising trainings and legal compulsory trainings.
In Özak Textile, there is a design, model and washing development team consisting of
specialist 150 people. The latest trends of the sector are followed closely and the
design+fabric+model+washing combinations fitting to the expectations of the customers are
created, which are reflected on the Özak collection renewed quarterly.
