RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
Monroe
TO PLACE THE QUESTION OF THE ISSUANCE OF LICENSES FOR SMALL
GAMES OF CHANCE ON THE BALLOT.
WHEREAS, the Pennsylvania Legislature, by Act No. 156 of 1988, has
legalized small games of chance operated by certain charitable
organizations, if the same is approved by the voters of the municipality,
and
WHEREAS, the question can be placed on the ballot if this municipality
adopts a resolution to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
1.
On behalf of the Township of Monroe
the
Snyder County Board of Elections is directed to place the following
question on the ballot for the May, 1989, primary election:
- DO YOU FAVOR THE ISSUANCE OF LICENSES TO CONDUCT SMALL GAMES OF
CHANCF IN THE TOWNSHIP OF
