Girl Talk (High School, Girls) This Teen Girls’ Group helps develop stronger and a more positive peer support system to navigate the social pressures girls face. Learn strategies to manage peer conflicts, the unhealthy media influences, stressors from family or school, and so much more. This is a safe place for your daughter to talk, share and open her eyes to a stronger sense of self and find her own voice based on self-respect, confidence and happiness. These young men are seeking acceptance and are looking for a way to connect on their terms. This group will work to develop strategies to combat their negative selfdefeating thought patterns, as well as identify the situations and emotions that trigger problematic behaviors. Together we will work to develop the strategies necessary to combat anxiety symptoms. Expressive arts foster improved self-esteem and self-competence, as well as positive social relationships for individuals with shared interests in writing, singing, and recoding music. If you child is musically creative and is interested in having a small group outlet to express themselves in a new way, this is the group for them!!
