The instructions assume that the student is completing the application. If you are an agent
completing the application on the student’s behalf, please supply the information as though you are
the student.

Step 1:
Access Humber’s online application at http://international.humber.ca/study-incanada/apply.html . Click on “Apply Now” to find the link to the application.
Step 2:
Begin by clicking the appropriate semester application found at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Personal Information

If the student only has one legal name, be sure to click the box “I only have one legal name”
Most International Students will have a status of “Study Permit(Student Visa)”
Please enter the students email address under the field “student e-mail”. An agents email
address can be entered in section 4 of the application “Agency/Rep/Contact Information”

Student addresses should be written according to the conventions of their home country.
If postal codes/zip codes are used in the student’s home country, write the postal code/zip
code at the end of the address line.
Step 4: Academic Information
Only one section (Senior Secondary/High School, College or University) needs to be completed.
Step 5: Program Choice
The first part is regarding the students proficiency in English.

If the student wants to enroll in Humber’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP), then select
the first option
If the student already has proof of English proficiency such as TOEFL, IELTS or successfully
completed Humber’s EAP program or a pathway program at one of Humber’s official English
Language partners, then select the second option
If the student will be attending or is attending a pathway program at one of Humber’s official
English Language partners, then select the third option
If English is your first language, then select the last option
Once you have selected the proficiency in English, more fields will populate regarding the academic
program the student wishes to study.
If you selected the first option (that you wish to enroll in Humber’s EAP program), you will need to
select when you would like to begin EAP studies then the academic program.
If you selected the third option that you are attending or will attend a pathway program from one of
Humber’s official English Language Partners, then you can have up to 3 program choices.
NOTE: Only programs that do not have secondary admission requirements are listed for the above
options (option 1 and 3). Only after you successfully complete the pathway program or Humber’s
EAP, will you have the opportunity to apply to programs that do have secondary admission
requirements.
If you are submitting your English proficiency (ie: TOEFL, IELTS), have successfully completed a
pathway program, EAP or English is your first language then you will have 3 choices for your program
with no restrictions.
Note: It is important to check http://international.humber.ca/study-in-canada/programavailability.html to see if your program is available. If there are no seats available, the program will
not automatically populate after your type.
Step 6: Agency/Rep/Contact Information
For any students working with an agent, the first 2 boxes should be checked off.
After you click the middle box, fields for agency information will populate. If you do not see if your
agency listed select the box “My agency is not listed” and type your agency name as provided to
Humber College.
You will also have the ability to submit the agency representatives name and email address.
Note: Please verify that your agency’s name is included in the drop-down menu and is spelled
correctly. If it is not listed or is misspelled, please contact us at [email protected].
Step 7: Document Upload
This is where applicants will be able to submit transcripts and other supporting application
documents.

You can drop documents from your computer or “click to browse for files” to upload the
appropriate document from your computer.
Each document type must be uploaded separately. Do not combine multiple document types
into one file.
Step 8: Application Summary
This is your opportunity to review your application to ensure it has been completed accurately. If any
changes need to be made, click “edit”.
Step 9: Submission
Once you have reviewed your application, please check the box.
Once the box is checked, 2 more boxes will populate for the payment.

The application fee is $75 CAD and is non-refundable. Payment must be made with a valid
credit card
A coupon code refers to fee waiver codes. Coupons will be provided as determined by
Humber’s recruitment Associate Directors/Managers. The coupons have start and end dates
which will be indicated when sharing a coupon.
