This training will be specifically aimed to solve the most critical aspects of the activities of Maintenance and Health and Safety needed to create a safe working environment. o To promote the PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF WORKERS AND THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE INDUSTRY. Página 2 de 6 NEWSLETTER: Trivial: SKILLWIND In the period between November 2016 and March 2017, the partners have completed the Standardized Training Programme. The HSE contents have been developed in accordance with the Basic Safety Training Course of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) and the developed modules are: ‐ First Aid Kit ‐ GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) Manual Handling ‐ GWO‐BST Fire Awareness ‐ GWO BST Working at heights ‐ GWO BST Sea Survival… The remaining modules developed include all the contents that were initially planned in the project proposal, in accordance with the following structure: ‐ Basic concepts ‐ Engineering, procurement, commissioning and operation ‐ Predictive maintenance ‐ Preventive maintenance ‐ Corrective maintenance A comparative analysis of the main European studies in the field of the wind energy industry is being developed with the perspective of evaluating and consolidating the Skillwind Training Programme among the greatest European standard training programmes as the BZEE course for Wind farm service and assembly technicians or The Danish Wind Power Academy specific course in Wind Industry. During the 3rd meeting in Cambridge, Brunel University presented the first prototype of the Serious Game. Página 3 de 6 NEWSLETTER: Trivial: SKILLWIND Partners are now working on the development of the serious game contents and on their programming. The serious game will be then tested in National pilot tests held in each consortium country. The Serious game comprehends diverse questions for each of the training modules developed in Skillwind, some of them would be the identification of the wind turbine generator components from the main ones to each part in detail, as well as identifying correctly all the protection means to more concrete questions such as distinguish the main factor affecting the generation of the wind farm that allows to obtain the net generation from the gross generation. A full example of a question from the Serious Game would be the following with the question answer marked in yellow: Q1‐A wind farm is normally organized in lines of WTGS, Why? Normally are organized in lines of around 5 WTGs to facilitate the cables lying otherwise they will be excessively stiff to be handle. This is to facilitate the access of the WTGS This is because the lines are interconnected and they should not be very long. For economic reasons. Página 4 de 6 NEWSLETTER: Trivial: SKILLWIND The 3rd transnational meeting was held in Cambridge (Great Britain) at Brunel Universiy headquarters. Technical work was reviewed, namely the complete Standardized Training Program and the definitive structure and design of the Serious Game prototype. Pilot experiences of the prototype developed in each country also have been planned and will be held in the consortium countries during June 2017. The 4th and final transnational meeting will be held, together with the final dissemination conference, in Brussels on October 2017.
