Parent Player Information

2015/16 Player/Parent/Away Team Information.
Access to Duloe Fields & parking on Woodhouse Lane.
(a) Speeding is a huge issue for the parishioners & the villagers living in Duloe, specifically
entering/exiting from Eaton Socon. Parents please be aware of the 30MPH speed limit
when entering/exiting the village, and turning into Woodhouse lane. Parking is also a very
sensitive matter with local residents. It also has been the case that random speed checks
have been set up through the village to highlight the speeding issues.
All those using the pitches must show respect for local residents by driving slowly and
carefully in Woodhouse Lane. Under no circumstances must any driveways be blocked and
all parking signs and Marshal’s advice must be followed. The Lane is used by pedestrians,
dog walkers and children using the play area and consideration should be shown to them at
all times. Some residents have horses and may need to bring horse boxes in and out of
their driveways so plenty of space should be left for them to gain access.
(b) The “visiting” team must park at the east end of Woodhouse Lane in the two signed car
parks (opposite 44, Woodhouse Lane and in the Celect car park, but not blocking access to
the industrial units or barns. (see above layout & follow match day signs)
(c) The “home” team should park along the grass verge before the village hall. The village
hall car park must not be used by Staploe & Duloe Football Club, unless it has been
notified to parents directly by the team manager. (see above layout & follow match day
signs)
(d) There may be a marshal on duty to direct/assist parking before matches, and parking
signs will be used to direct users where to park.
(e) Car sharing should be encouraged where possible.
Use of Facilities at Duloe
Please do not use, or attempt to enter the village hall on match or training days. The Village
Hall is out of bounds at all times.
Toilets are available to players and parents via the changing rooms accessed by the decking
area, at the rear of the Village Hall.
Refreshments may be available on match days, subject to the canteen area being
manned/run by the parents of the home team.
During and after each home game, can players and spectators please ensure that litter is
picked up and disposed of properly, which helps keeping the area tidy, and also doesn’t
damage the mower when cutting the grass is required. Bins are located by the Village Hall
carpark, at the canteen (if open), and by the play equipment.
You may bring your Dogs over whilst games are being played as long as they are kept on a
lead, & you pick up any waste, and dispose into the dog waste bin by the car park.
Language
Residents of Woodhouse Lane have asked that there should be a ban on the use of bad
language by users of the pitches and their spectators.
This also falls in line with the Hunts Youth League registration form & ‘respect’ code of
conduct issued by the Hunts FA, signed by all players and parents during pre season.
