Elected First XI Form 2016/17
Regulation 4.2.2.1:
Each participating club shall submit to England Hockey by the due date, a list (“the elective
1st XI list”) of eleven players, selected on merit and including 1 goalkeeper.
Any club still participating in the competition on 31st January in any season shall submit to
England Hockey on or before that date a further list of eleven players, selected on merit and
including 1 goalkeeper, to be that club’s elective 1st XI list for the remainder of the season,
provided that no club shall be permitted when submitting its further list of players to include
more than 5 players who were not on that club’s initial elective 1st XI list.
No player for the time being on a club’s elective 1st XI list is permitted to play in this
competition.

This form must be returned to England Hockey no later than FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER
(Women) or FRIDAY 9th OCTOBER (Men). A £10 fine will be imposed on clubs who fail to
do so. Please ensure you keep a copy of your elected First XI for your own records.
