Symantec VIP Fix Utility
If you are being prompted to re-register with Symantec VIP or you are on the “checking device
registration” page for more than one minute, follow the instructions below to correct your
issue:
1. Close all your IE browser windows.
2. Open the Symantec VIP Fix Utility below.
3. Select Yes to allow the fix utility to run

4. On the Plugin Install Shield Wizard select Next > Install

5. Once the install is complete, select OK
6. Go to the Symantec VIP registration page to re-register your device. You will receive
message to register.
a. Enter your Enterprise ID and Password, and click Continue (if prompted).
b. In Confirm Your Identity screen: Check the box Remember this private device,
and click Don't have a security code to generate New code.
i. If you do not have access to “Don’t have a security code” (blue link) or
need to update contact info, please update your contact info here:
https://federation-sts.accenture.com/vip/contacts/
c. Select how you want to receive your security code and click Send. Once you
receive six digit code, enter your security code, then Continue to the next
screen.(Remember to select the checkbox “Remember this private device”)
d. Select Download > Run > Run to install the VIP Security Plug-in. (no need to save
the plug-in)
i. When using Chrome, please make sure you select Always Allow for the
PKI plugin pop-up on top of the browser. (You might have to re-load the
page in order for the setting to be applied)
ii. When using Firefox, please make sure you select Allow and Remember
for the PKI plugin pop-up on top of the browser. (You might have to reload the page in order for the setting to be applied)

e. Enter a Name for your device (as you prefer). Then click Continue
f. Your device will now be remembered as a trusted device for future sign-in
access. Click Continue to finish process.
