TF-CPR Meeting in February 2012

NORDUnet will be hosting the first meeting of 2012 on 23-24 February 2012 in Kastrup, Copenhagen
(Denmark).

Venue
The meeting will take place in the NORDUnet office [link to nordu.net] in Kastrup in the Greater
Copenhagen area. The office can easily be reached by metro, train or bus from the city center, and from the
airport it is just a short walk, or you can take the Metro (just one metro station away from the airport).

How to get there:
- By plane
You will arrive at Copenhagen Airport, terminal 1 (domestic) or 2&3 (international). From terminal 2 & 3,
NORDUnet is just a short walk away.
Walk to the "narrow" end of the arrivals hall, take the left exit from the terminal building, walk a short
distance along the road. Use the walkway bridge to cross the railroad and motorway. You are now on
Kastruplundsgade. Follow the road about ½ km to reach the NORDUnet office.

If you do not want to walk, you can take the Metro from terminal 3. Kastrup station is the first stop. From
there it is just a 2 min walk to NORDUnet.
Tickets for the Metro are available at the Metro station and at the DSB ticket sales counter in Terminal 3.
Please note that the ticket machines do not accept notes, only coins and (some) credit cards.

Take the Metro to Kastrup Station (Line M2 to Copenhagen Aiport/Lufthavnen)
From the stations it is just a short walk to NORDUnet.
The Metro runs every 4 minutes.

- by Train
Take the airport train from the Central Railway Station, Nørreport, or other station, and get off at the
Copenhagen Airport. Use the instructions above to find the office from the airport.
The ride from Central Railway Station to Copenhagen Airport is 12 minutes
- by Bus
City bus 2 runs from city center. Get off at the bus stop at Kastruplundsgade (ask the driver for assistance),
and you're just a few minutes from the NORDUnet office. The bus from city center is about 35-40 minutes.
- by taxi
A taxi from city center is about 200 DKK, and will take 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

The hotel is just across the street from NORDUnet.
NORDUnet does not have an agreement with them anymore as they ended up not being price competitive
vs Admiral when it came to actual booking. If you book very early you might get rates as low as around 600
DKK, but they cannot guarantee that this rate will continue to apply.
