Athens Fashion Trade Show: The ever evolving unique fashion show!
In September, the Athens Fashion Trade Show has yet again proven its
dynamic and for one more season gained the trust of exhibitors and of
thousands of stores from all over Greece, including renowned brands
in clothing, footwear, lingerie, accessories and bijoux.
From the 25th to the 28th of September, the Athens Fashion Trade
Show, the joint event by Femmina Fashion Trade Show, Hellenic
Shoe Fair and the accessories and bijoux department of the Gift
Show, enhanced its role as a platform for an integrated approach towards the
fashion industry, through the quality and quantity of its visitors and
the commercial partnerships that it has formed.
The Fresh Department and the new designers presented their fresh
ideas and youthful proposals and solutions, astounding visitors for yet another
year with their unique creations.
Live DJ sets gave rhythm to the catwalks of the Athens Fashion Trade Show
which showcased unique new clothing, footwear and fashion accessory
collections for Autumn 2015/Winter 2016.
The one-day conference entitled “New technologies for the design of
comfortable footwear”, by the University of the Aegean/ Department of
Product & Systems Design in the framework of the cooperation between the
Athens Fashion Trade Show and ELSEVIE (Hellenic Association of Footwear
Manufacturers and Exporters), was successfully held on Friday 25 September.
There was also a great response to the conference entitled “The
internationalization of domestic brands in Mediterranean countries”, held on
Monday 28 September by the Hellenic Fashion Industry Association (SEPEE),
a partner of the Athens Fashion Trade Show, in the context of the TEX-MED
Clusters “Innovative cross-border approaches for Textile and Clothing
Clusters co-development in the Mediterranean basin”.
Participation in the prearranged business meetings, held in parallel to the
conference, between Greek clothing and textile firms and firms from countries
participating in the TEX MED Clusters project, was also on the increase.
The Athens Fashion Trade Show does not cease to evolve so as to constantly
astound with new collections and fresh ideas and suggestions.
