CONDÉ NAST AND SNAPCHAT PARTNER TO GIVE EXCLUSIVE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CONDÉ NAST AND SNAPCHAT PARTNER TO GIVE
EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO ICONIC EVENTS
NEW YORK, NY—October 2, 2015—Condé Nast and Snapchat today announced a partnership
that will give consumers an exclusive and unique look into seven of Condé Nast’s tentpole
events. The deal pairs the unparalleled access of Condé Nast with the wide distribution of
Snapchat and leverages Snapchat’s Live Story feature. The Live Stories will allow
Snapchatters at these events—including celebrities, editors, guests and more—to contribute
their unique perspectives through video and photo Snaps to one collective, curated Story
available to Snapchatters globally for 24 hours. The first event to kick off the partnership will
be the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, taking place tonight in Los Angeles.
“This partnership gives viewers, for the first time, a unique insider’s perspective from
exclusive Condé Nast events,” said Fred Santarpia, executive vice president and chief digital
officer of Condé Nast. “This marriage of our must-see live event content and vast real-time
distribution gives advertisers broadcast-level scale bigger than most television premieres
and live sporting events.”
“Live Stories throw you into the action of an event, creating a unique experience that
Snapchatters around the world love,” said Ben Schwerin, director of partnerships at
Snapchat. “We're thrilled to partner with Condé Nast and excited to show
our community these exclusive events.”
Future Condé Nast events to be covered through Snapchat Live Stories include Glamour’s
Women of the Year, GQ’s Grammy Party, and Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, among others.
