We recently contacted you regarding the Research Councils’ annual research outcomes
Submission Period using the online researchfish® system.
Our records show that as of midnight last night you had not yet submitted a current summary
of the research outcomes arising from your Research Council supported studentship. The th
deadline for submitting information via the researchfish® system is 4pm on Thursday 16
March.
Some of you may feel that you have already submitted everything to RCUK this year, but that
may not yet be the case. In order to submit you will have to press the ‘submit’ button for your
Funder, not just add your outcomes. You will know you have successfully achieved submission
when you get a confirmation email from Researchfish with the submitted awards in it. They
will also show up under a green banner on the system now when submission was successful,
not just under red one anymore
It is also worth remembering that if you have awards with multiple RCUK Funders then you
will have to submit against each Funder. If you cannot see the awards from one or more of your
Funders in your account then please contact us and we’ll re-send you the invite email
Please be aware that this year there will not be a blanket extension given to those who
have not submitted by the deadline date

How do I log into researchfish®?
1. When you register for a researchfish account you have to set up your own username and
password and should use these to login at https://www.researchfish.com/.
2. If you have forgotten your password you can request a new one by going to
https://www.researchfish.com/helpwiz/forgot
How can I get help using the system?
Researchfish have made a number of improvements to the system over the last 12 months.

You should already have received an email invitation to allow you to set up a Researchfish
account. If however you still need to set one up you can get an invitation email resent to you
