No Sound from Promethean Board
1. Check that the P-Board is on. You should see a green light on the side of the P-Board.
a. If it is green, go to step 2.
b. If it is red, press it until it turns green. Then go to step 2.
2. Check the ActivManager icon on the system tray (toolbar on the bottom right hand side of your
desktop)
a. If it has a red X like the one shown below, check the USB cable. If unplugged, plug it in.
If plugged, unplug it and plug it back in.
b. If the ActivManager icon does not have a red x, then move to step 3.

3. Right click on the Speakers icon on the system tray
4. Select Playback Devices
5. Make sure the Promethean USB Audio has a green check. If it does….
Check the volume on your P-board
Make sure the Speakers icon on your system tray does not show volume to be muted.
If it does, click on the speakers icon and click on the unmute icon.
You can also click on the speakers icon to adjust the volume level.
6. If the Promethean USB Audio does not have a green check…..
 Click on Promethean USB Audio
 Click Set Default
 Click Ok
7. Test sound. It should work now! 
