Vocabulary Tic-Tac-Toe
 Choose three boxes each week to complete.
 The boxes must be in a row.
 Notebooks are due each Friday but can be turned in early to your language arts teacher. Please do not turn
work in early to Mrs. Y.
 You will receive full credit only if the directions in the box are followed completely.
 At the top of each page be sure to label which boxes you complete.
Complete the spelling and
vocabulary sheets from your
Reader’s & Writer’s notebook. Ask
your teacher for the page numbers.
Create COMPLETE sentences with
each of your words.
Create LINCS cards for the even
numbered words of your spelling
list. Place the LINCS cards into
your LINCS packet.
Cut pictures or words from old
magazines or newspapers that
represent the meaning of your
vocabulary words.
Complete the LINCS chain
worksheet using your LINCS cards.
Place the LINCS worksheet into
your LINCS packet.
Using a thesaurus, find three
synonyms and/or antonyms for
each of your words.
Create LINCS cards for the odd
numbered words of your spelling
list. Place the LINCS cards into
your LINCS packet.
Create a short story using each of
your vocabulary words. Optional –
draw a picture of your story.
Create a crossword puzzle using
each of your words.
