From the 28th till the 31st of May 2014 the main event of the furniture and interior market of Ukraine –
Kiev International Furniture Forum KIFF – will be held. The KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center will
welcome the leaders of the furniture and interior sector that will offer new collections for professional
audience – designers, architects, distributors, owners of furniture showrooms and hoteliers. Here at the
largest furniture forum of Ukraine meet and the decisions forming the future of the furniture market of
Ukraine are made.
In 2014 the KIFF 2014 exhibition will feature a totally new format, the idea and realization of which
belongs to the exhibition partner, a large Italian design bureau Adriani&Rossi – the agency having
successful experience in selling their own projects – showrooms, boutiques, shops. Due to the new
concept of KIFF, the visitors are sure to find the new integral presentation of products, when any
exhibitor is becoming the bestseller of one’s own brand.

The SPAZIO DESIGN project
SPAZIO DESIGN is a communication platform, the events center, the place of holding workshops
and seminars from famous persons in the sphere of design. It is also the platform for experience
exchange between the project participants, designers and architects, furniture manufacturers
and their customers.
SPAZIO DESIGN is a project from the leading Italian architecture bureau Adriani&Rossi and famous
Ukrainian architect Serhii Makhno, which targets at revealing the potential of Ukrainian furniture factories
and design studios.
For the SPAZIO DESIGN project the newest developments from 10 Ukrainian design studios and furniture
manufacturers have been selected. Due to crucial improvement in furniture design within the latest years,
Ukrainian brands demonstrate a qualitatively new level in furniture production. Support of the national
companies has always been one of the main strategies of KIFF, thus it has become the basis of the Spazio
Design concept developed by the design studio of Serhii Makhno together with the Italian studio Adriani &
Rossi. Participation in the project will give companies a huge push to the companies for presentation of their
possibilities not only in Ukraine, but also in the international markets.

Visitors of the workshop will learn how to create one’s own system of styles, which would allow revealing the
demands of the customer, bringing the customer’s “I want this” into the certain coordinates system in order
to further receive a vivid view of the interior functionality, as well as aesthetics and emotional aspect. Vitalii

Interior award INTERIUM
Interior award INTERIUM is an award in the sphere of interiors of living and public premises
(implemented and unimplemented projects). This year the award will be given for the fourth time already.
The contest is held among professional audience – architects, designers, architectural and design bureaus
from Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and other countries.
In addition to the special statuette INTERIUM and diplomas the winners of the contest will traditionally
receive the special prize – grants for studying at Politecnico di Milano.

The winners awarding ceremony of the INTERIUM contest will be held on May, 30 at 18:30 in Hall 1 at the

Best Furniture of Ukraine – the main award of the furniture industry
The Best Furniture of Ukraine contest presents the products of Ukrainian furniture manufacturers, using
modern design, style and innovative solutions. For more than 10 years the contest has been a
communication platform for furniture manufacturers and suppliers, architects and designers. Winning the
Best Furniture of Ukraine contest is an evidence of high quality of the company’s products. The contest is
organized by Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ltd., Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers. The
winners of the contest will be awarded on May, 31 at 12:00 in Hall 1 at the SPAZIO DESIGN area.
The MTKT Innovation exhibition
Simultaneously with KIFF, the MTKT Innovation exhibition is held annually. It offers equipment, components,
and raw materials for furniture production to its visitors and participants. MTKT Innovation is a specialized
event for industry professionals. In 2014 the MTKT Innovation exhibition is updated according to the concept
of Adriani & Rossi and will be located in Hall 2 – TECHNO HALL. Among the exhibition participants there are
world known companies, such as AGT, “Mebelni Tekhnolohii”, Blum, Kronospan, Rehau, Kastamonu,
Raumplus, Staron, Artel, Samet etc.
The area of the forum is about 20,000 sq.m. According to estimations, the forum itself is expected to be
visited by 18,000 professionals, among which there are representatives of furniture business from all over
Ukraine, international distributors and manufacturers, architects and designers, representatives of the
HoReCa segment.
