Director of Tennis, Rome Tennis Center at Berry College
City of Rome, Georgia
The Rome Tennis Center at Berry College is a state of the art, new facility located in Rome,
Georgia. The goal is to innovatively increase tennis outreach, create an economic development
driver while maintaining our designation as one of the nation’s top tennis towns. Located on a
terraced 30-acre site, contiguous to the main campus of Berry College, the fully accessible
Tennis Center will open with 54 hard courts (and an option for 6 more), including 3 stadium
courts, 6 NCAA competition courts and 12 courts striped for 10 and Under. The new facility is
under construction and scheduled to open in July 2016. Efforts are underway to construct a 6
court enclosed facility adjacent to the RTC property to broaden the tournaments that can be
hosted in Rome. In concurrence of opening the new center, an existing city owned 16- court
facility in the heart of downtown Rome (DTC) will come under the management of the new
Rome Tennis Center so that all City tennis facilities fall under one umbrella.
