You can acquire payoff information 24 hours a day, seven
days a week by calling Bank of America at:

What you will need for payoff quote*:
Customer account number (If the customer has more than one Bank of
America loan, please listen carefully to the Voice Response Unit (VRU)
options to ensure the payoff quote is for the correct loan.)
Customer social security number
* Should you not have one of these items available, please press “0” to speak with a Bank of
America representative and they will attempt to identify the account using the last six (6)
digits of the VIN number. A live operator is available 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET.

Payoff Handling:
If paid off by dealer, you should expect to receive documentation from us (including
title, if applicable) within 5-7 days of our receipt of payoff. This assumes standard
delivery time via U.S. mail. If overnight mail is desired, please provide your
overnight delivery account number OR a self-addressed overnight envelope.
Please be sure to allow adequate mail time for us to receive your payoff.
For electronic liens, RLO will release the lien within 48 hours with instructions to
the state DMV to issue the title directly to the dealer.
Please be sure to provide clear mailing instructions and address via
“Special Instructions” form to ensure prompt delivery.
* Please note that if a title or documents cannot be located during the payoff process, Bank of
America will immediately notify the dealer by phone.
