Disability Football has a clear player
pathway, with talent identification
structures in place. Alongside the regular
SEN festivals and BOBI League fixtures,
we deliver an England Talent Day to
identify the most talented individuals with
disabilities in the county.
The England Talent Day traditionally
takes place in March giving young
people the opportunity to be assessed
by County FA staff and a FA Talent
Consultant. Whilst some young
individuals with impairments play in
mainstream football, this event seeks to
identify individuals who can go onto
play within County Player Development
Centres, Regional Centre of Excellence
and National Squads.
The Berks & Bucks FA also has a
Disability Skills Centre taking place at
Cox Green Leisure Centre, Maidenhead,
providing high quality coaching to 7 –
11 year olds with disabilities. If you are
interested in attending a session please
visit www.berks-bucksfa.com for session
dates and times.

BOBI League
Get Involved
The BOBI League is a pan-disability
league that operates across Berkshire,
Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The
League has divisions for adult males,
adult females, U16’s and U12’s, as
well as a division for individuals with
mental health issues.
Both the Berks & Bucks FA and
Oxfordshire FA are always keen to
encourage clubs and individuals to
become involved in disability football,
to ensure that any individual who
wants to take part in football has the
opportunity to do so. Whether it is
within an existing mainstream club,
or if you are looking to establish a
disability specific club we will advise
and support you every step of the way.
The League plays one central venue
fixture a month which consists of
teams playing between 4 and 6
games. There are currently a total
of 6 central venues a season (2
Berkshire, 2 Buckinghamshire, and 2 in
Oxfordshire), with the season running
September - May, with a winter break
for December, January and February.
