• Focus on what is needed and what young people want.
• Meaningful and sustainable change.
• Legacy doesn’t start at the end of the Games
What do we do?
• Develop a Legacy Action Plan.
• Outlines the change your young people want to make
• How you are going to do it?
• Register the project on the website.

• A statement that Glasgow 2014 and London 2012 is having an
impact on young people.

Wales at the Games
• Team of over 300 people
• Team includes: Athletes, Management, HQ, Physio’s,
Medics, PR
• Team send off will be 11 June 2014
• Games start on 23 July 2014 with Opening Ceremony
• Games close 3 August 2014
• Team homecoming will be September
• Wales is represented in every sport (no diving though)
• BBC and BBC Cymru Wales will have extensive coverage
so make sure you cheer the team on.
