General Information: Virtual School is offered in several formats: Seminole County Virtual School (SCVS) is
designed for students who are looking for a virtual course during their regular (seven period) day, as an
additional course after school, or as a summer class. If a student wants a virtual course as part of their regular
school day, SCVS courses can be completed from home or these courses may be taken at Crooms AoIT in a
computer lab. SCVS teachers are employees of Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS). Students registering
with SCVS will be given priority in-lab seats, due to limited seat availability placement in lab is NOT guaranteed.
Timeline: Plan accordingly! Semester 1: 16-18 weeks Semester 2: 16-18 weeks
Accelerated Semester 1: 12 weeks Accelerated Semester 2: 12 weeks
For any course with an EOC, it will be the student’s responsibility to speak with the
testing coordinator (Mrs. Alisa Grace, Assistant Principal) to ensure they are added to the list
of students who will test at Crooms AoIT. Grade Forgiveness is only eligible for letter grades
of “ D” or “ F” .
