Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park.
Day 2: Tsavo East National park to Amboseli National Park.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park.

Day 5: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Mombasa.
Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Begin Safari from Diani to Tsavo East
Pick up from the hotel at around 6.30 am driving along Mombasa- Nairobi highway proceed
fto Tsavo East (The largest park in Kenya which covers an area of 13,747 km2) and arrive at
Bachuma. Begin the game drive en route to Aruba Dam (A water hole where animals come to
drink water). Physical attractions in Tsavo East (safari attractions) include Tsavo River, Yatta Plateau
which is 300 km2 and the longest in the world,, Mudanda Rock, Lugard's Falls, Voi seasonal
River and Aruba Dam. There's a chance to see wildlife such as red elephants, leopards,
cheetah, and giraffes among others. Proceed with safari game drive to Voi Safari Lodge or
Ashnil Aruba Lodge where you will check in at around 1.00 pm. Have lunch and relax till
4.00 pm after which you will start another game drive till 6.30 pm then back to the lodge for
dinner and overnight (Voi Safari Lodge or Ashnil Aruba Lodge or similar).
Day 2: Depart from Tsavo East and continue with Safari to
Amboseli
Wake up at around 5.30 am, have a cup of coffee and start an early morning safari game drive
before breakfast. This time you have a chance of seeing the Lions of Tsavo among other
animals. Back to the lodge for the main breakfast at around 8.30 am then depart Tsavo east
after breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park to arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon
game drive within the Amboseli which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount
Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo
etc. can be seen. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or lodge in Amboseli.
Day 3: Leave Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West
After an early morning breakfast enjoy a safari game drive viewing more wildlife en-route as
you leave Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West National Park with game viewing en-route to
safari lodge or camp in Tsavo West for check-in and lunch. After a short rest you will venture
out for an afternoon game drive which includes a visit to the Rhino sanctuary. Dinner and
overnight at your safari lodge or camp in Tsavo West.
Day 4: Depart Tsavo West and drive to Taita hills Saltlick Game
Sanctuary
Depart from your Tsavo West Safari Camp or lodge at 0700hrs after full breakfast, with game
viewing en-route and drive to Taita Hill Saltlick lodge. In the sanctuary you will have a
chance of viewing the lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and many more plains game. Have
lunch at Taita Saltlick lodge. After lunch relax up to 1600hrs time for the afternoon game
drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
The Salt Lick Lodge is a unique lodge built atop stilts overlooking a waterhole. It is linked by
suspended walkways under which elephants potter. Its name is taken from its setting - a
natural salt lick which was a congregating place for the neighborhood's salt-hungry residents.
The lodge lies on the outskirts of Tsavo West National Park.
Day 5: Last day of your Safari; Leave Taita hills Saltlick Game
Sanctuary and drive back to Diani
Early morning game drive viewing more wildlife in the Taita hills game sanctuary and the
views of the plains and the hills before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast
depart from the Taita Hills Saltlick lodge and with more game viewing en-route drive back to
Diani arriving in the early evening.
