How to Set Reporting Term Weights

Open Gradebook
Click on the Grade Setup icon
Double-click on F1 under Reporting Term
Click in the bubble beside Term Weights
Enter 50 in the Weight Column for S1
Enter 50 in the Weight Column for S2
Click the arrow in front of S1 to reveal N1 and N2
Enter 25 as the weight for both N1 and N2
Click on the weight column to refresh – notice the percent will be 25.0%
Click Save

Repeat the process by clicking on the arrow in front of S2 to reveal N3 and N4
Enter 25 as the weight for both N3 and N4
Click on the weight column to refresh and the percent will be 25.0%
Click Save

Note: For accuracy, go back and double click on the S1 folder under F1. If it defaults to Total
Points as seen below, select the bubble beside Term Weights

Enter 25 as the Weight for both N1 and N2
Click on the weight column to refresh – notice the percent will be 50.00%
Click SAVE
Repeat process for S2 folder
Check the settings for the S1 and S2 folder for ALL classes.
As long as you have the same number for N1 and N2 under weight and the same
percentage under N1 and N2 displaying your S1 will calculate correctly.
7. As long as you have the same number for N3 and N4 under weight and the same
percentage under N3 and N4 displaying, your S2 will calculate correctly.
Note: You may also want to refer to the links below for further assistance including how to copy
your setup from one class to other classes. The copy feature is a great way to accomplish this
task quicker!
