You have been selected to participate on Chicago Xtreme, a non-profit, AAU youth
Sports travel basketball organization. The Future will allow you an opportunity to
compete at the next level. Our travel schedule will consist of regional and national
tournaments from March thru August, 2012. The fundraiser will help to raise money to
offset the cost for uniforms, membership fee, tournament cost, and travel expenses.
The FREE-THROW fundraiser will allow you to solicit pledge donations in advance from
friends and family of free throws that you make at practice the week of March 12th –
16th, 2012.
An example is listed below:
You shot 100 free throws and you make 50. Your pledge person on Line 1 (John
Hancock $1.00) would owe you $50.

“HI. My name is John/Jane Doe and I play basketball in an AAU
travel program that competes nationally. We are hosting a
free throw fundraiser to generate money to help with
expenses (travel, uniforms, tournament, etc.). Would you
please consider making a pledge based on the number of
free throws that I make out of 100 shots? Or you can
contribute a Flat Donation of any amount.
