Welcome to the Playschool Express
The Playschool Express is a drop-in child care facility for residents and their guests to use. We provide a safe, happy
environment for your children where active play is encouraged.
Ages: 1 through 7 years of age.
Fee: $3.00 for the first child and $1.50 for each sibling.
Discounted prepaid cards are available for $30. ($2.50 for the first child and $1.25 for each sibling)
Hours of service: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-Noon and 3-6pm.
Rules of Use
• Maximum 2-hour time limit per day.
• On your child’s first visit with us, please fill out the personal information form in order to acquaint us with
your child.
• Children must follow the direction and instruction of the Playschool Express staff. Behavioral problems,
such as biting, fighting or other incidents that require discipline and compromise the safety of other
children may result in suspension of childcare privileges for a defined period. Appropriate action will be
determined on a case-by-case basis.
• Please ensure that diapered children are dry and clean before bringing them. If your child needs to be
changed, the staff will request parental assistance.
• Unless prior arrangements have been made, children will not be allowed to leave with anyone other than the
parent or guardian who brought them.
• Parents/guardians need to stay on the premises while their child is in the care of the Playschool Express.
• If a child is upset or uncomfortable for a period of twenty minutes or longer, the staff may request parental
assistance. Your prompt return will help keep the Playschool Express environment positive.
• A charge of $1 per minute will be charged for children not picked up by closing.
For health and safety of children, families, our staff and community, we will not accept children that have a fever,
heavy cough, running nose or are contagious. Children must be illness free for at least 24 hours prior to attending
the Playschool Express.
Check-in
Please stop by the service desk before you take your children to the Playschool Express. During your first visit, you
will be asked to turn in an emergency contact sheet for each child that will be attending.
