OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
The post holder will be responsible for Leading and managing the Trade and
Distribution Team for France/ Spain / Italy and Benelux being located in Dundalk
Ensuring that all day to day trade and distribution activities within the logistic chain
from order management (otc) to the accounting processes (AR) are properly
managed according to WCRX legacy standards and requirements and delivered on
time in the countries currently managed by the Trade and distribution team in
Ireland.
Managing the relationship with the 3rd party logistic providers (3 PL) involved in his
area of responsibility for the business in Spain, Italy, France and Benelux. He/ she is
the escalation SPOC for the 3PL for all activities and responsibilities assumed by the 3
PL’s.
Maintaining and building market knowledge in the EU countries in his area of
responsibility to understand market dynamics in terms of pricing, competition and
other challenges and to identify and develop initiatives to maintain or develop sales.

GENERAL DUTIES
Trade and Distribution:
 Lead and manage the outsourced local TDO Team at the 3 PL and ensure
business is being delivered according to expectation and targets
 Ensure smooth transaction of all OtC and AR processes at 3 PL at target
service performance
 Need to understand TDO business processes and related systems in depth
to assume responsibilities as business owner for Trade and Distribution to

support SAP developments, SAP improvement projects and SAP system
upgrades.
Responsible for all projects related to TDO, supply chain, systems and
compliance (SAP integration projects, Lean 6 Sigma improvement
projects, etc…)
Responsibility for master data (customer and pricing) approvals
Secure customer communication and relationship management across
the full ‘order – shipping – billing – cash collection’ process is being done
by the 3 Pl according to WC expectations and standards
Maintain a business relationship with local key customers to build local
knowledge regarding customers requirements and market developments
and to look for opportunities to drive the business results
Responsible for delivering Internal Control requirements for CS and AR
(OtC) processes (e.g. all monthly and quarterly Internal Audit reports are
completed by internal or external functions and approved by internal
management)
Ensure completion of Quarter End and Year End closing activities as per
company expectation for otc and AR
Ensure all supply planning activities (e.g. placing purchase order in SAP
MRP ) are being completed in time
Manage the interface with external regulatory resources to ensure that
local price changes or other changes affecting the saleability of the
products are understood and implemented on time w/o impact on
product availability
Interact with European forecasting responsible to align on forecast
updates in affected countries
Support the supply management process (SMS)
Manage the required interaction with the local boards to ensure local
decision making in the area of Trade and Distribution is being managed
according to existing board guidelines
Develop a flexible organisational design that is capable to adjust to the
requirements in Europe
Monitor inventory levels in locakl markets and support the European
Supply Planning Team ensuring the availability of all SKU’s being
distributed in France/ Spain / Italy and Benelux products in all countries
Relationship with 3 PL’s
 Ensure standards and processes are in place to manage the operational
interface with the 3 PL’s
 Ensure that standardised KPI’s are in place with the different 3PL’s and
being monitored and on track
 Lead supply chain projects with the 3 PL
 Implement and continuously improve the interaction and collaboration
with the 3 PL

Ensure action plans with all 3 PL are in place and up to date and ensure
continuous follow up
Ensure operating procedures are in place and up to date
Ensure a Business continuity plan is in place (BCP)
Ensure required scrapping process in place
Ensure stock controlling responsibilities like monitoring inventories and
approving any required inventory adjustments are being are defined and
related activities are being executed
Ensure that SAP security for employees at the 3 PL are being managed
according to WCRx standards
Ensure that periodic inventory counts at 3 PL are being completed on
time
Compliance:
 Responsible for compliance standards at 3 PL to ensure that finished
goods are received, stored and distributed according to GDP guidelines
 Ensure 3 PL delivers internal audit standards as required
 CAPA / Audit action plan implementation and tracking
 Responsible for 3 PL operation related investigations
 Support the Tax department regarding the intrastat reporting
requirements in the different countries to ensure tax and legal
requirements are met
 Ensure export activities are managed according to customs regulations
Cost
 Budget development and tracking with 3 PL
 Track and approve monthly spending with 3 PL
 Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
 Manage and support financial planning requirements for the affected
markets
Managing People
 Leading a group of people consisting of CSR’s (Customer Service
Representative), Site owners for the different involved 3 PL’s, AR clerks
and a supply chain analyst
 Day to day management of the Trade & Distribution team in Dundalk and
continuously review and improve team and individual performance to
ensure the expected results are being delivered
 Continuously coach and develop the Team to ensure the Team is up to
speed regarding all applicable requirements and regulations in their area
of responsibility
 Manage the company’s yearly Performance Management process with
the team
 Create a Team culture and work environment where people are able to
develop capabilities according to business requirements, where people

are able to contribute to the business and where people are recognized
for their performance and behaviour.
